The facebook artist

Guys, I must admit to have a soft spot for artists: they’re interesting, they’re different – and they ALWAYS have a good time!

So, as you all know, I’ve tried to combine this with dating on facebook. And it seems to be working out – no dates yet but I’m chatting with some girls and I guess we will be on soon.

And this is so easy – go to the top search bar and search for your city. If it’s a bigger city, for sure there will be an art or culture group.

That right – become a member, and they transform into perfectly free dating sites!

So, I found this one group for abstract paintings (…) and joined. The list was full of interesting girls that I would have loved to date – somewhat similar to my post about anna the author – but here’s the real trick:

Wait for event invitations to shows! I did so and was invited to a show by an up and coming local artist. Perfect – because she even looked cute and for sure dateable.

The show is on in a couple of weeks – I’ll get back you all – but here’s how I opened:

Me: Hi! Just saw your show is on in a few weeks and wanted to let you know that I’ll be there – so don’t stay at home for the opening night!

Her: Hehe, of course I won’t! Looking forward to seeing you, please bring friends

Me: Sure will do – funny, I wouldn’t have pictured you as an artist, though

Her: Heh, what do you mean?

Me: Oh well, maybe… construction?

Her. Haha no!

Me: Butcher??

……

And so on – a little tease. And I know most of you recognize it form the dating guide. It’s my signature tease And guess who she will look most forward to chatting to on the opening night?
