Helping a friend get a date part 2

Hi,

So, my friend managed to screw up fantastically well over his first week of Facebook dating. I told him it wasn’t a big deal – and it isn’t, but here’s what he had done:

When trying to get an online date, he constantly sent “winks” to girls on are you interested – and even wrote a note once in a while: “hi, you’re cute” and so forth.

I mean, sweet enough, but…

So, lesson 2: don’t try to pick up girls by being nice and direct – especially not online!

This might work in real life when you try to meet someone, as it gives you extra points in real life – but not in online dating.

Imagine how many emails good looking girls get a day – probably the same amount you do a month, so you have to stand out.

You have to be cocky.

I told my friend to read the dating guide again, and then try to focus on the openers.

They actually do work:

Find something that stands out on her photos and then give her a little shit for it. Like sunglasses: so, you want to be a rock star with those glasses?

Stuff like that – something that begs for an answer and writing: wow, you’re pretty” actually doesn’t

So, I told him to come back in a week – let’s see how he has done!
