Facebook – the date saver

Guys,

A quick update on my dating life. It’s pretty hectic, thank God!

First of all I’m a coffee drinker, second of all I like my morning routines, so I ALWAYS have my morning coffee the same place, my local around the corner.

So, this girl started working there a few weeks back. Sweet as H… and easy on the eyes. But, and the excuses are many, but let’s say my online game is better and I’m not very sharp early in the morning, so I never made a pass on her. If looking really tired with puffy eyes don’t count, that is.

Then, all of sudden she was gone! I asked Mike, a guys who’s been there since the Internet, and he said she had quit. Too bad, I though, but luckily I have Mike on Facebook, so I figured she would have her as a friend – I only knew her first name, but hey – how many Fridas can a guy know?

At home I quickly looked her up. Friend requested her with a note:

Me: Frida! You left me standing there with empty cups and what not! I always figured you’d try something else – have you moved into working in construction, perhaps?

Her: Hi! Funny and no I haven’t – do I look like that?

Me. No! Just the hands, maybe So, where are you now?

……

That’s it. Nice and friendly and of course cocky as per the dating guide, you guys should know that by now .

This is a few weeks ago. She told me her new work place (not construction – some other cafe, so I want there with a full on bow tie and asked her out. Classy and it worked!
