Facebook Dating Profiles: Red Flags
28 Dec
Do you wonder at times about some of the profiles that you see on Facebook? What type of person is lurking behind the screen? Facebook dating may lead you to many profiles that just don’t seem right. They come off in a way that set your teeth on edge and having you searching elsewhere.
How are you supposed to know which profiles aren’t safe when you’re Facebook dating? As with anything in life, there are always signs that something is afoot. Here are some of the things to look for:
- When you’re Facebook dating, you wouldn’t publicly post private pictures. So, you should stay away from the profiles of those who do. This person is using the wrong assets to get what they are looking for. Not only is it tasteless, it could mean trouble.

- There have been too many scenarios where people who are far too old, are seeking to date people who are far too young on Facebook. It has been the other way around as well. Stay in your age range. You never know what is on the mind of the person on the other side of your Wi-Fi connection. Always put your safety first.
- Inbox messages on Facebook can be all the reason you need to take off running. Rude, disrespectable and explicit messages from a Facebook dater are a no-no. Don’t accept anything from a Facebook dater that you wouldn’t accept from anyone in real life.
Dating on Facebook can be fun but you have to know what to be aware of and what to stay away from. The risk of having a bad dating experience on Facebook can be greatly reduced if you know which types of dating profiles to stay away from. Keeping these things in mind, you shouldn’t run into much trouble. Make the most of your experience!
