Facebook 46!

Hey guys,

Phew, man, I really think that Facebook 50 project is ambitious. I mean, I’m already behind schedule! But, thinking about my life and especially my job, I know that it is important to maintain the direction and keep fighting even though it seems too far to get there.

Sometimes you just need to keep working and wait for a lucky break – stuff like this come in waves, I believe: luck, new clients at work and success in dating. Among many other things, of course!

So, my Facebook 50 project, where I will try to meet up with 50 girls in a year, solely from facebook (yes, it must include bringing them home as well…) got one step closer to the final result the day before yesterday.

Phew!

What happened? Well, I met this girl on… Facebook. She actually started writing me because of some humoristic comments I had made on a friends wall. Comments that she saw and liked.

To be correct, she started by poking me. A lot of girls do this because they don’t know how to initiate contact – they have never done this before! And I like it because it’s an open invitation for you to say ANYTHING you want. I normally give them a hard time for poking:

“Oooooh, a POKE! It’s been year without one, I didn’t know you could still use that. Great! So, judging by the extreme amount of words in your email, you must be …. journalist?”

Classic facebook dating and of course she will love it because all girls think it’s cool to be a journalist.

Pretty straight forward – we chatted, went for coffee. Went home, each one alone and met up the day after for a drink. Close to my place which sort of came in handy later in the evening!
