Hello readers!

So, I’ve been chatting up this girl called Dana. Looks very sweet and very dateable – it was sort of a coincidence that we started talking. Well, starting talking WASN’T a coincidence, but that I spotted her was.

Here’s a sneaky twist on facebook dating – we meet like this:

A friend of mine posts an update: “Somebody robbed me AGAIN!”

She replies something like “that’s horrible!” and, well, so do I. Because it is!

Then I can see her profile pic and she looks cute. I send her an email:

Me: yea, that robbery was tough on Tim. Poor guy, huh? Hope it wasn’t you who did – although you’re still a suspect!

Her: huh?? What do you mean?

Me: Where were you at the time of the crime, young lady? Oh, and may I see some ID???

Her: haha, at the movies, sorry

Me: hah, yea right! And I was out surfing…. Oh wait, actually I was! Quick: top 3 actors in the movie you saw?

Her: eeh, OK, you got me – not sure it was THAT time exactly . So do you surf?

We went out yesterday – perfect date and I’m thinking I might lay low for a while – she’s seriously sweet this one.

A lesson: if you comment on a friends update and others do the same then you have something in common. Not a lot – but it’s a foot in the door and that could be all you need to date online – on Facebook. For free
