This is an important post. Seriously.

Are you ready to know how I “facebooked” – aka online dated – a 24 year old MODEL last month? Though so.

This is excellent – because you instantly have something in common with these girls, and that’s one of the most important steps in online dating.

You know how Facebook has fan pages for everything? I like to focus on music – mainly because I love it myself but also because most people are very interested in this subject – and thus have quite strong opinions about their favorite album etc.

So, I once was quite fond (as they say) of a local rock band. Yup, loud rock music – great! . But this could be any band, really. I join the fan page and see they have around 5000 fans. Yup, it’s time to start digging!

I send out a few emails – remember, we’re already fans of the same thing, so we’re off to a good start!

Me: Hi Ann – I was wondering if you’re going to the concert next month? A friend is trying to organize a pre-party for fans – he’ll post more here later. Or are you just in it for the coolness factor?

Her: Hehe, no, I LOVE them! I didn’t even know they were playing next month – let me know more about the party, please

Me: Sure will. But this is only for REAL fans! I’m thinking we should have a entrance question – like which is their best album (and everyone knows that it’s their 2^nd!”

Her: good idea, although you’re wrong about the album!

And from there it was on, on, ON!
