American girls on Faceboook

Hey guys – I met up with an American girl the other day. My favorite these days and I’ll tell you why: they’re liberal (you know!), easy going and they’re all experts in using facebook.

And if you want to use facebook for dating, like yours truly, then this is an important fact.

Now, I search for “Americans in CITY” – for my own city, but also when traveling. For now, let’s stick to my own city. The traveling trick is another post .

So, I find the Americans in CITY group and then I browse the members. See one you like?

Click it, see if her profile is public. If it is, then browse further and see if the profile picture is just a lucky punch. It is sometimes.

If it isn’t, try writing her. Of course, you should also do this even if the profile is public

For openers, refer to the ones I – I mean, WE – always use. For Karen, the one I met up with the other day, I said:

Me: Hello! I browsed this group as a few of my besties are Americans. I figured I’d cheer you up as you’re the only one not smiling on her photo. I mean, such a nice city and such a sad face – cheer up!

Her: Uhm, I’m actually kinda happy…

Me: Oh, sorry. Then put up a photo of you kite surfing – just for me

Her: Haha, I actually don’t surf but Id like to try! What do you do here?

Once she start asking me then it’s ON. Obviously you can do this with any nationality but it’s easier with Americans as they don’t seem to have issues with meeting up on Facebook. They’re just used to using it for everything – also for dating and that’s for sure our advantage!
